Mechanical Engineer - Thermal (Teradyne, North Reading, MA)

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Thermal to lead the Titan HP system-level test platform, integrating precision subsystems, and drive thermal architecture, model, and optimize liquid/air cooling for advanced packages. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years in machine design or mechanical engineering.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred)
• 2+ years in machine design or mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with PDM/MRP
• Strong ANSI Y14.5 & GD&T
• Experience in FEA, tolerance stack-up, and analytical validation
• Hands-on design/integration of thermal, fluid, and pneumatic systems
• Expertise with ANSYS Fluent/Icepak and server air-cooling strategies
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, DAQ
• Exposure to Minitab/Python/R
• Self-driven, systems thinker with clear CAD communication and strong cross-functional collaboration
