Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing

Texas A&M International University seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing to begin Spring 2026. The successful candidate must have an earned master's degree in nursing, two or more years of clinical nursing experience, and a current unrestricted/unencumbered license to practice registered nursing within the state of Texas. The position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Requirements

• Earned master's degree in nursing
• Two or more years of clinical nursing experience
• Current unrestricted/unencumbered license to practice registered nursing within the state of Texas
• One or more years of teaching experience in higher education
• Advanced practice nurse certification (if applicable)
• Earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited university (strongly encouraged)
