Job Description
Texas Workforce Commission seeks a Contract Specialist IV to perform advanced contract management work, including developing and maintaining RFAs, facilitating evaluation teams, and analyzing daily reports. The ideal candidate has four years of experience in contract development, management, evaluation, or training, or relevant academic credits.
Requirements
- Four years of full-time experience in contract development, management, evaluation, or training of contract providers or customers
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
- One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Contract Specialist III with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD)
- Experience developing competitive solicitations e.g., RFAs, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), or Requests for Offers (RFOs) for the State of Texas
- Experience in technical writing, advanced procurement methods, and grant development
- Experience in facilitation and customer service
- Ability to analyze complex information and address identified issues
- Knowledge of project management
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams
