The Contract Specialist IV performs advanced contract management work under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements
- Four years of full-time experience in contract development, management, evaluation, monitoring, or training of contract providers or customers;
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
- Certification as a Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD)
- Experience developing competitive solicitations e.g., RFAs, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), or Requests for Offers (RFOs) for the State of Texas.
- Experience in technical writing, advanced procurement methods, and grant development.
- Experience in facilitation and customer service.
- Ability to analyze complex information and address identified issues.
- Knowledge of project management.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.
