Job Description
Textron Aviation is hiring an Avionics Technician B for 8th shift. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing avionics systems, performing functional and in-flight testing, and ensuring compliance with FAA standards. The position comes with a shift differential and a competitive total rewards package.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; two years of college or technical school preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft avionics systems troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of electronics and ability to use test equipment related to avionics systems
- Familiarity with avionics systems including communication, navigation, autopilot, flight director, and pulse equipment (DME, transponder, weather radar)
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, aircraft orders, and written instructions
