Patient Access Coordinator-Mt. Auburn FT 5:00am to 1:30 pm

Obtain and verify patient information for quality care and reimbursement purposes. Analyze patient accounts and determine insurance coverage. Prepare documentation for medical necessity and Medicare compliance.

Requirements

• Analytical Skills: Analyze patient accounts and evaluate financial data.
• Clinical Skills: Process emergency and obstetrics cases and notify staff.
• Compliance Skills: Obtain signatures for revenue cycle documentation and prepare charts and forms.
• Communication/Interpretation Skills: Interview patients and obtain demographic and financial information.
• Education and Leadership Skills: Provide education and training to other staff members.
