Job Description
Join The Doe Fund on our mission to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and recidivism. We are seeking a Full Time Resident Manager for our newest permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
Requirements
- Function as a liaison between the residents and the staff
- Collaborate with the security staff during his/her tour of duty to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents
- Perform hourly patrols through the facility
- Manage any challenging situations and crises that may occur at the facility
- Responsible for handling any incidents that may occur at the facility and completing an Incident Report form, as needed
- Communicate noteworthy events to the Program Director and the Clinical team as well as document them in the appropriate logbook
- Attend all mandatory staff meetings
- Ensure all aspects of the Fire Alarm System (FAS) are working properly and are up to code with FDNY
- Visually inspect and document all components of the FAS
