Porter

The Morgan Group is seeking a Porter to join their team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring property grounds and common areas are clean and free of debris. You will also be responsible for completing assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner. The position requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Maintenance and Emergency Procedures manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Ensure property grounds and common areas are clean and free of debris.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner.
• Inspect the property; pick up trash and debris, and reports all safety hazards or needed repairs to the Lead Maintenance.
• Clean parking lot areas, garages, walkways, entryways and hallways.
• Operate indoor floor scrubber machines when necessary.
• Ensure model tour route is free of debris.
• Operate leaf blower or parking lot vacuum to ensure that the property is free of debris.
• Empty trash cans and move/clean trash dumpsters and surrounding areas.
• Assist with removal of furniture, appliances and debris from vacated apartments to dumpster or storage.
• Assist with snow removal operations, pond, fountain and/or pool cleaning and maintenance.
• Pick up debris at dog parks and/or other pet areas using personal protective gear such as gloves.
• Assist with cleaning of vacant units for move-ins when needed.
• Clean pool, chairs, tables, decks and umbrellas.
• Comply with all training requirements set forth for this position.
