Job Description
The Museum School of Avondale Estates seeks skilled and passionate professionals to serve in the role of Instructional Assistant (Paraprofessional).
Requirements
- Certified or certifiable Georgia Paraprofessional
- Assist teachers and students by working with students individually or in small groups, reinforcing instruction while attending to student’s learning styles and academic level
- Assist with classroom management and classroom organization
- Proctor during assessments
- Act as a substitute in the teacher’s absence
- Assist administrators and other staff members in the supervision of students during arrival, dismissal, and lunch
- Assist teachers and other staff members with the supervision of students during learning expeditions
