Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join The Part-Time Finance People and support a portfolio of ambitious SME clients across Manchester and the surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Expertise in balance sheet reconciliations
- Proven ability in cashflow management and profit forecasting
- Experience with Xero (with exposure to Sage50 and/or QuickBooks a bonus)
- A track record of implementing and improving financial controls
- Commercial awareness and a practical, business-focused mindset
- Experience supporting year-end processes (excluding statutory accounts)
- Advanced Excel skills (including PivotTables, SUMIFs, and data visualisation)
- Confidence presenting financial insights to non-financial leaders
- Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years), with experience managing a finance team
