The Training & Development Manager will assist in training, continuous quality improvement practices and implementation of best practices across the state to promote innovation, effective practice and fidelity to agency curricula and programming. The role is responsible for providing support to agency staff and developing learning opportunities to enhance existing skills and provide ongoing development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources (Training) or other related field
- 3-5 years social work, program management and service delivery experience - preferably in a corrections or nonprofit setting
- 3-5 years of training experience developing and delivering training
- 3-5 years facilitating cognitive behavioral groups
- Experience with evidence-based programs and program fidelity tools preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in making presentations to internal and external audiences
- Excellence in developing and maintaining internal and external partnerships
- Ability to provide coaching and written feedback to staff
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to enter and maintain program data
- Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle during work hours that is covered by adequate car insurance
- Intermediate level computer capabilities in use of databases, web-based environments, word processing, email, and spreadsheets
