Job Description
As a Resource Team RPN, you will be available to float to all units of the hospital as required, with qualifications including a graduate of a recognized Diploma Program in Practical Nursing and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Requirements
- Graduate of recognized Diploma Program in Practical Nursing
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Knowledge of CNO Standards regarding RPN scope of practice
- Understanding of MHA and relevant legislation
- CPR/AED Certification within the last 2 years
- Completion of Prevention of Violence in the Workplace training (C.P.I.) required
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Basic computer skills required
- English level A- is mandatory in oral comprehension, expression, reading and writing
- Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
