Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Support Worker to provide a warm, professional first point of contact for residents, visitors, and callers. The role involves gathering essential intake information, sharing information about accommodation and support options, and supporting the smooth running of daily and after-hours operations. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Community Services, experience in homelessness or human services, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Community Services
- Experience in homelessness or human services
- Understanding of trauma impacts, human development, and social disadvantage
