Lifeguard/ Pool Operator - North Mabee Red Shield Youth Center

The Salvation Army is looking for a Lifeguard – Pool Operator for our North Mabee Youth Center located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The job involves serving as a lifeguard, providing constant surveillance of pool activities, and maintaining the cleanliness of the pool water.

Requirements

• Knowledge of life saving techniques and ability to perform them in emergency situations.
• Ability to supervise swimmers and provide constant surveillance of pool activities.
• Ability to enforce all swimming pool rules.
• Knowledge of proper pool management.
• Ability to test and adjust pool water to ensure the proper chemical balance as well as the safety of the swimmers.
• Ability to prepare and maintain up-to-date pool records.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to swim and perform lifesaving activities.
