Lifeguard - PT - (Indoor Pool) - Sand Springs Red Shield Youth Center

The Salvation Army is seeking a PT Lifeguard for its Sand Springs Red Shield Youth Center. The lifeguard will provide surveillance of pool activities and ensure swimmer safety.

Requirements

• Knowledge of life saving techniques and ability to perform them in emergency situations.
• Ability to supervise swimmers and provide constant surveillance of pool activities in order to ensure swimmer safety and to respond to emergency rescue when needed.
• Ability to enforce all swimming pool rules.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to swim and meet lifesaving requirements.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.)
