Youth Development Professional - Sand Springs Red Shield Youth Center

The Salvation Army is looking for Youth Development Professionals to work at the Sand Springs Red Shield Youth Center in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The job involves planning, implementing, and supervising activities for youth, as well as building relationships with families and supporting the mission of The Salvation Army.

Requirements

• Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army
• Ability to interact with children and teens with patience and respect
• Ability to prepare and maintain records and reports in an accurate and complete manner
• Ability to support and coordinate activities and events
• Ability to clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to individuals and groups
• Ability to schedule meetings
• Ability to interact with co-workers, volunteers and the public in a positive, professional manner
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
• Ability to operate and generally maintain all office equipment
• Proficiency with Windows & Microsoft Office 365
