Compliance Specialist

Schochet is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join their team at Hamilton Wade Douglas House in Brockton, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing annual and interim resident recertifications, verifying income and assets, and maintaining accurate records. Bilingual skills in Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, or Spanish are a plus.

Requirements

• Responsible for the completion of annual and interim resident recertifications
• Verifies income, assets and medical information
• Performs annual reexaminations as well as computing any interim rent changes
• Must have prior Section 8 compliance
• Certified Occupancy Specialist or equivalent is required
• Bilingual in Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole or Spanish a plus
• Experience with YARDI a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow through skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
