The Midwifery Program in the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor (Tenure), or Professor (Tenure). The successful candidate will lead the Midwifery Program’s strategic development and act as a champion for its continued evolution within the University and the province of British Columbia.

• PhD
• Eligibility for registration as a midwife in British Columbia
• Distinguished record in higher education, research, and clinical practice
• Commitment to midwifery education and research
• High quality in teaching, research, and publication
• Leadership, administration, communication, consensus-building, and advocacy skills
