Human Resources Coordinator, McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at Cockrell School of Engineering

The Human Resources Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and human resources support for the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering, with primary responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of employee appointments, onboarding and separations, timekeeping, and graduate student scholarship and tuition benefit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in a Human Resources function.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work assignments in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, & Teams).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, discretion, and sound judgment while cooperatively working with others.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of constituents.
