Job Description
The EHS Specialist role at Weir ESCO involves proactive safety leadership, sustainable environmental strategies, and continuous improvement to drive efficiency, resilience, and measurable results. The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of experience in site safety leadership in an industrial setting.
Requirements
- Contribute to and execute the deployment of Weir Group EHS/SHE Strategy across the North America region of the ESCO Division
- Lead, coach, partner with, and provide direction to ESCO managers, employees and SHE resources throughout North America on EHS/SHE strategy and performance goals
- Actively interpret EHS/SHE trend analysis and statistics providing insights to leaders and develop alternate solutions to improve SHE performance
- Plan and direct site self-assessments and recommended actions for the correction of hazardous situations
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture
