As a Barista in this role, you’ll provide friendly, efficient service to employees, visitors, and staff by preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and light food items in a corporate setting.
Requirements
- Operate a cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus).
- Identify customer needs and refer them to the appropriate department for follow-up when necessary.
- Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
- Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies etc. for the coffee bar.
- Provide exceptional service to all guests.
- Understand workplace standards for dress, behavior, and hygiene
- Perform basic math (e.g., addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals)
- Communicate clearly in English (spoken and written)
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service
- Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
- Be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Follow time schedules for food prep and service
- Perform other duties as assigned.
