Job Description
The IEP Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing, and overseeing the implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in special education or related field required.
- Master's degree in special education, Educational Leadership, or related area preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and state special education regulations.
- Experience managing IEP processes and documentation.
- Valid state teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Certified in Basic First Aid including Choking Rescue Procedure (previously referred to as Heimlich Maneuver) and CPR, or the ability to obtain certification within the first three months of hire.
- TCI certification.
