Job Description
The Dental Patient Service Representative is responsible for welcoming and assisting patients with scheduling of appointments, taking charge of all aspects of registering the patient, answering all incoming calls, collecting charges, taking complete and accurate messages, and documenting appropriately.
Requirements
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum High School diploma or associate degree
- Medical terminology, diagnosis coding and billing procedure knowledge (preferred)
- Experience with dental insurance and payment collections (preferred)
