Job Description
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for welcoming and assisting patients with scheduling of appointments, taking charge of all aspects of registering patient demographics, answering all incoming calls, collecting co-payments and/or balances from office visits, taking complete and accurate messages, and documenting appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with payment/billing collections
- Minimum 1-year ambulatory care medical office experience
