The Jr. IT Technician provides tier 1 technical support to end-users, sets up hardware and software, troubleshoots technical issues, and assists in performing root cause analysis under supervision of the System Administrator.
Requirements
- Follows up in a timely manner on Support Request Tickets in TBPO’s helpdesk system.
- Communicates efficiently in a professional manner with end-users and colleagues in IT department.
- Ensuring that IT policies as per the TBPO IT Policy Manual are being followed by end-users. Report breaches to System Administrator.
- Ensuring that Anti-Virus software, OS, and 3rd party software patches are applied and updated at the user-level.
- Responsible for end-user AUP awareness training.
- Manages documentation of TBPO’s asset control per site.
- Install and maintain TBPO’s wiring infrastructure per site.
- Proficient in software installation, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- A+ accreditation advantageous.
