Manager Accounting Policy & Compliance

You'll make a tangible impact on the people of NSW, using your finance and accounting skills to help build a sustainable and thriving transport network for generations to come. This role will see you develop, interpret and implement financial policies, provide high-level technical accounting advice, oversee compliance processes, and support consistent, accurate, and standards-aligned financial reporting across the organisation.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Australian Accounting Standards, technical accounting and financial reporting
• Experience in large or complex environments
• Ability to navigate complex environments, interpret diverse legislative and regulatory requirements, manage multiple high value and high risk transactions, and balance commercial objectives with public accountability and compliance
• Proactive and confident in shaping a newly created role, able to uplift financial policy, reporting quality and compliance across the organisation
