TransPremier, LLC. is seeking a Milling Machine Foreman to manage the milling crew members, quality control support, logistics in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous related experience required.
- Dependability & flexibility; a complete crew determines the success of this operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under extreme weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt operations and DOT regulations
- Ability to thrive in teamwork environments.
- Professional, courteous, and safety-driven work ethic
- Strong customer service skills
- Great communication skills
- Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to repeatedly move/lift 50 lbs. and climb in and out of heavy equipment.
- Ability to work and maintain alert around dirt, dust, and noise associated with heavy equipment, and during all weather conditions.
- May require sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment.
- Possess strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm during critical situations.
- Ability to effectively receive, understand and transmit verbal and written instructions.
- Be a leader while on shift by supporting TransPremier, LLC Safety Culture.
- Follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures.
- Maintain working area clean and in an orderly condition.
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Effectively communicate verbally and written.
- Solve practical and analytical problems and manage the pressure associated with deadline-oriented atmosphere and customer service issues.
- Demonstrates skill in making independent decisions in support of company policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with crew members, drivers, and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes.
- Ability to be flexible with schedule changes. Must be able to work-days/nights, weekends and extended hours when necessary.
