Job Description
Senior Data Scientist position at TransUnion, responsible for developing analytic solutions through consulting engagements for clients primarily for fraud prevention. Requires a graduate degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with relevant professional experience. Must have experience in client-facing roles, analytic work, and predictive modeling. Strong analytical and communication skills required.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, computer science, engineering, operations research, or other highly quantitative field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in client-facing roles
- Experience in analytic work
- Experience in predictive modeling
- Familiarity with credit bureau data and solutions
- Familiarity with fraud particularly as it pertains to financial services or telecommunications industries
