Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Manager job summary: reporting to the HR Director, working closely with management to improve business results and meet objectives, and providing expertise on leadership development, performance management, and change management. The role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as experience in payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition. The position involves working collaboratively with the plant team to improve employee relations, labor relations, and diversity management, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR strongly preferred; Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with eight years of progressive experience in human resources at a management level
• Ability to guide efforts of plant-level HR resources to identify opportunities and lead change
• Knowledge of HRIS and payroll software to assure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and administrative compliance consistent with regulatory and internal practices
• Experience in establishing effective approaches to improve employee engagement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
