Quality Manager

Role Overview

The Quality Manager is a senior leadership role within the TT Electronics Bedlington management team, responsible for all aspects of the company's Quality Management System. The position is based full time at the Bedlington facility, which is a flagship manufacturing site within the TT Power Division & TT Components Division, manufacturing electronics components, and microelectronic assemblies, within ISO class 6 & class 7 clean room environments.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement Quality objectives, chair Management Reviews, lead the Quality function, manage regulatory compliance, monitor Cost of Poor Quality, and implement effective process and product control strategies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a quality management role, ideally within electronics manufacturing and within a ISO class 7 clean room environment, and a proven record of results achieved from a continuous improvement approach.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a quality management role
• Senior position within a high mix / low to medium volume manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering) or equivalent technical degree
• Six Sigma Blackbelt and/or Lean Expert Certification
• Several years of technical experience in electronics manufacturing with Aerospace and Defence and Automotive customers
• High level of knowledge of the requirements of AS9100 QS 9000, ISO 9000, TS16949
• Continuous Improvement skills such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, MSA
