Cost Engineer - Project Controls - Energy Projects

Cost Engineer to join a diverse and supportive team, responsible for cost control of multiple smaller projects or one larger project. Must have senior cost engineering experience, ability to manage relationships between time, cost, risk, change, reporting, and scope. Passionate about delivering Sustainable Net Zero outcomes for clients and driving industry leading change.

Requirements

• Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Cost Engineering/Control in one or more sectors across the whole Project lifecycle
• Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management, Project Management Institute)
• Experience leading Cost Control Assurance activities as part of project performance cadence
• Ability to navigate through conflict situations and defuse tension
