Intermediate Project Engineer

Intermediate Project Engineer responsible for supporting the delivery of industrial projects, particularly within refinery and heavy industrial environments. This client-facing role involves managing technical scope, schedule, and interfaces to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution from concept through construction and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience on industrial projects; refinery or heavy industrial background strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting or leading project execution within an engineering consultancy or EPC environment.
• Working knowledge of applicable industrial codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with discipline-appropriate engineering software and common project controls tools (general familiarity expected).
• Strong coordination, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work from or support projects based out of Burnaby, BC.
