Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Educational Leadership - Teacher Education

The School of Education at Texas Woman's University (TWU) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor or Full Professor level in Educational Leadership.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Higher Education or a closely related field
• A minimum of 3 years of campus leadership experience at either the K-12 level or higher education level
• Emerging research agenda and record of publications in scholarly journals that relate to the applicant’s field of expertise in Higher Education or related field
• Potential for seeking and securing externally funded grants
• Experience integrating technology in educational settings and willingness to implement virtual teaching simulations
• Ability to mentor graduate students with research projects and dissertations
• Ability to provide test preparation workshops for each of the tests taken by principal and superintendent candidates
• Capacity to engage in community/university partnerships
• Established research agenda and record of publications in scholarly journals that relate to the applicant’s teaching and service
• Documented experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students with research projects
• Documented evidence of securing externally funded grants
• Advising of doctoral students and chairing dissertations
• Established research agenda and record of publications in scholarly journals that relate to the applicant’s teaching and service at national or international level in their field of study
• Established experience chairing dissertations
• Biliterate in English and Spanish
• Experienced in Qualitative and Quantitative research, methodologies, and theoretical frameworks.
• Experience integrating immersive technologies in the classroom with emphasis on augmented and virtual reality
• Experience integrating virtual teaching simulations (Mursion)
• Demonstrated experience teaching, mentoring, and advising non-traditional students and being sensitive to their educational needs
• Documented evidence of working with communities of varied backgrounds
