Job Description
The Clinical Specialist (CS) is a licensed registered nurse who functions within the three spheres of influence; patient-nurse-system. Must possess advanced knowledge of nursing practice and the ability to apply standards within the nursing practice specialty area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 4+ years of clinical experience in the specialty/patient population of the care area/unit/service line
- 2+ years’ experience in a unit leadership role (including Charge Nurse, Team Lead, Resource RN, or RN IV-level at UAMS or similar leadership roles)
- National RN Certification (or ability to obtain it within 1 (one) year of hire)
- Active RN license & BLS
