Job Description
The EHS Specialist will serve as the dedicated on-site EHS professional at the Synthica Saint Bernard (SSB) Food Waste Anaerobic Digestion and Renewable Natural Gas facility in Saint Bernard, Ohio. This role will oversee contractor construction crews, build site-specific EHS programs, and manage environmental compliance responsibilities.
Requirements
- Lead contractor safety oversight during the pre-commissioning construction phase
- Develop site-specific EHS programs, procedures, and training curriculum
- Conduct field safety assessments, job site inspections, and hazard identification activities
- Conduct and organize role-based safety and environmental training
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and high-potential events
- Manage site-level environmental compliance responsibilities
