Job Description
The National Project Coordinator will lead the development of Belize's green and blue industrial policy, coordinate stakeholder consultations, and supervise a team of policy analysts/research assistants. The Coordinator will work closely with the project team in the HQ and field location, including the Belize Ministry of Investment.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in economics, development studies, public policy, or other relevant discipline
- At least seven (7) years of professional experience in coordinating the implementation of development/technical cooperation programmes/projects/policy formulation
- Strong understanding of Belize's economic structure, productive sectors, and policy environment or similar country in the region
- Experience in evidence-based analysis, industrial policy, or sector development
- Knowledge and familiarity of UNIDO's industrial policy methodology is desirable
