Job Description
The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) will provide specialty care to General Surgery patients in collaboration with the attending staff. The role requires collecting comprehensive patient health data/history, completing medication reconciliation, and performing comprehensive physical assessments. The APN will work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams to promote wellness and provide education.
Requirements
- Completion of an educational program designed to prepare graduates to practice as an NP/APN with a master's degree in nursing and eligibility for certification by a national certifying body
- Current Registered/Professional Nurse license and registration in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
