We are looking for an IT Application/User Support Specialist to work with us to master the challenges of tomorrow! The Service Delivery Team is looking for a competent employee who will take care of the maintenance of computer workstations for employees at the University of Vienna and support the team leadership.

Requirements

• Completed education or study in the field of computer science or related fields or corresponding professional experience
• Very good knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Very good German and English knowledge in writing and speaking
• Experience in MS Windows and application software
• Experience in the user support area and user training
• Experience with deployment systems and remote maintenance
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange and setting up mobile devices (Android, iOS)
• Experience in documenting internal processes and technical workflows
• Knowledge of MacOS X and/or Linux is desirable
• Ability to work independently and structurally, be service-oriented, diplomatic, and solution-oriented
• Social and communicative skills, motivation, and focus even in demanding team constellations
• Physical fitness for lifting and carrying loads (e.g. PCs and printers)
