Job Description
The University of Cincinnati School of Social Work is searching for a fulltime faculty member to carry out the responsibilities associated with coordinating a robust field education program for the School’s BSW Distance Learning (BSW-DL) program.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work degree
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- Five years post-MSW practice experience as a professional social worker.
- Knowledge and skill in the use of computer technology, educational learning management systems, and experience in course development.
- Three years of successful teaching and field coordination experience in social work.
- Experience in working with community organizations, especially in recruiting and placing students. Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, problem solving, counseling, conflict management, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to take direction and coordinate work with colleagues, peers, and community partners.
