Job Description
The School of Environment and Sustainability (SEaS) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor to join a new “Blue”/Water and Sustainability initiative in the College of Arts and Sciences. The position is open to applicants who explore human, water, and economic dynamics in areas such as but not limited to river ecosystems, groundwater aquifers, coastal or open ocean systems, water quality, weather, flooding and disasters, fisheries and aquaculture, water transportation, or renewable energy.
Requirements
- Teach undergraduate and graduate-level disciplinary and interdisciplinary courses in the School’s Environmental Studies program in areas related to water-related systems and dynamics
- Conduct scholarly research related to water and how it relates to the economy
