Job Description
The University of Helsinki is seeking a Professor or Assistant/Associate Professor in Restoration Ecology. The successful applicant will have expertise in urban ecosystems and their restoration or rehabilitation, with a focus on methodologies to assess ecological/socio-environmental outcomes. The position is part of the Diversity in Society and Life (DIVSOL) multi Faculty action and will involve working in and leading multi- and transdisciplinary working groups.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree
- Top-level scholarly qualifications and experience in research supervision
- Ability to provide research-based teaching and supervise theses and dissertations
- Experience in obtaining external research funding
- International research experience and positions in international organizations
