Job Description
The Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences invite applications for the position of Professor or Assistant/Associate Professor in Restoration Ecology. The successful applicant will have expertise in urban ecosystems and their restoration or rehabilitation, and will be part of the Diversity in Society and Life (DIVSOL) multi Faculty action. The position includes working in and leading multi- and transdisciplinary working groups investigating topics like loss of diversity and its impact on ecological integrity and function, and the benefits of urban biodiversity for different urban populations.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree
- Top-level scholarly qualifications and experience in the supervision of scientific research
- Proven record of acquiring research funding
- Ability to provide top-level research-based teaching and supervise theses and dissertations
- International cooperation in the research field
