Shift Supervisor 2nd Shift

Join Valmont as a Shift Supervisor 2nd Shift to supervise, train, and motivate production employees in the Global Coating Division. Implement work schedules, define production standards, and promote productivity improvements.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from a tech school or two years of college
• Two years of experience in a supervisory or management position
• Ability to recognize hazardous substances and basic employee responsibilities for chemical safety
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues
• Strong leadership skills and ability to support divisional business objectives
• Ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
