Director, IT Architecture

Varicent is seeking a Director of IT Architecture to lead the evolution of their enterprise technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in enterprise IT, with 5+ years in architecture leadership, and strong technical expertise in areas such as endpoint technology, data lake architecture, and cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise IT, with 5+ years in architecture leadership
• Strong technical expertise in areas such as endpoint technology, data lake architecture, and cloud architecture
• Experience in mid-sized, scaling organizations (500–2000 employees)
• Demonstrated success leading platform modernization, data platform evolution, and consolidation initiatives
• Strong experience in End User Computing management, SaaS ecosystem governance, infrastructure architecture, and data engineering patterns
• Direct experience with endpoint management platforms such as Jamf and Intune
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team and work collaboratively with other business units
• Effective executive communication skills and ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
