Job Description
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can. This includes providing household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, and personal care assistance, as well as accompanying them to medical appointments, outings, and community activities.
Requirements
- High School Degree or G.E.D.
- Must be 21+ years old
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required)
- Be available by telephone for daily contact
