Veritas HHS seeks a Payroll Accountant for its corporate office in Denver, CO. The role involves payroll accounting, reconciliation, and analysis, as well as benefits accounting and audit support.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll accounting, payroll tax, or a closely related function
- Experience reconciling payroll to a general ledger in a multi-state environment
- Working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax requirements including 941s, SUI, and local taxes
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage attachment compliance
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, logical functions)
- Comfort working in an ERP environment (we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Paylocity)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, work in a team environment, interest in team mentorship, and commitment to department and organizational goals
