Engineer - Manufacturing

We are seeking an Engineer - Manufacturing to support cross-functional teams in improving production processes, enhancing product quality, and implementing sustainable practices. The role plays a key part in advancing Vermeer's mission through practical engineering solutions that align with our values of continuous improvement and customer focus.

Requirements

• Collaborate with manufacturing, product development, and lifecycle/aftermarket teams
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and support just-in-time (JIT) production
• Interpret and work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
• Design and optimize tooling and fixtures
• Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Engineering Change Notification (ECN) systems
• Support data-driven decision-making through the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
