We are looking for a driven Junior Account Executive to own new business development at VerSprite. You will manage the full sales cycle β from cold prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close β while maintaining strong relationships with your growing book of clients.
Requirements
- 2β4 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, preferably in technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or professional services
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field β required
- Proven track record of cold prospecting and outbound outreach β phone, email, and social
- Experience running discovery calls, building proposals, and negotiating contracts independently
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM β pipeline management, sequencing, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong ability to manage a book of accounts and maintain client relationships post-close
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel and represent VerSprite at client meetings and events β including outside of standard business hours when needed
- Strongly Preferred: Background in cybersecurity, IT services, or technical B2B sales
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as penetration testing, threat modeling, or compliance frameworks (NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
- Experience selling into regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or enterprise technology
