The Awake Overnight Resident Assistant is responsible for maintaining the residence, creating a supportive environment, and supporting staff and daily operations. They report to the Program Director and work in collaboration with the team to provide client-centered services.
Requirements
- Act in accordance with Victory Programs, Inc.’s Standards of Excellence & Philosophy of Care
- Ensure the residence is maintained in a state of good repair and orderliness
- Enforce all policies and procedures related to maintaining a safe and appropriate residential environment
- Engage in relationship building, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, motivational interviewing and conflict de-escalation as needed
- Accurately document observations, encounters, incidents and engagements with clients
- Support with inventory of client belongings and storage of food, household supplies, linen supplies
- Provide assistance with daily office and administrative functions
- Communicate with management and peer staff regarding facility information
- Attend supervision, staff meetings, clinical team meetings and professional development training
- Conduct safety, security and wellness rounds/checks throughout the program
