The Recovery Support Specialist supports the program by ensuring that quality direct care services are provided to the clients.
Requirements
- Act in accordance with Victory Programs, Inc.'s Standards of Excellence & Philosophy of Care at all times including maintaining professional ethics, boundaries and client confidentiality.
- Provide quality, empathetic customer service to the clients in the program.
- Ensure that when clients take medication, all policies and procedures are followed for assisting and monitoring the clients’ self-administration of medication.
- Provide milieu coverage, including: maintaining and assessing the integrity of the program’s therapeutic milieu, empowering clients to act in accordance with guidelines in the program;
- Input client/program data in Electronic Health Records.
- Facilitate and/or co-facilitate client groups and complete required group facilitation documentation.
- Provide referrals as needed.
- Participate and support the agency in program events, State House rallies, fundraising and advocacy events, rallies, walks and any additional functions.
